The Maplewood and Corky Row Neighborhood Associations sponsored a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 23rd at Maplewood Park on Stafford Road to help get the word out about the associations and the opportunity for fun, social events, as well as opportunities to be involved in community outreach projects that meet the needs and interests of the residents. The associations will also sponsor a community supper on November 15th featuring a spaghetti dinner with an "admission price" of a can or box of food to donate to the Fall River Food Bank. There will also be a Santa register to ask Santa for help this year to fulfill the wishes of children in need. In December, the families who asked Santa for assistance will be invited to a holiday party to meet Santa and receive their gift.
