The Fall River
Street Tree
Planting Program offered flowering trees to residents
for planting in the city free of charge on October 17, 2004, at an
adopt-a-tree project. Residents agreed to plant the trees in their yards
and provide maintenance care. Trees included Cleveland pears, kousa
dogwoods and weeping pink cherry trees. The Street Tree Planting Program also provided
voluntary tree
steward training this fall at Bristol Community College. | ||
