Battleship Cove Community Boating (BCCB) provides a safe and convenient sailing venue for both youth and adults. Located just off of Interstate 195, BCCB provides the pleasure of sailing without the hassle and expense of maintaining a boat. BCCB has an extensive fleet of boats including 12 refurbished Cape Cod Mercuries, six 2001 Vanguard 420's and twelve 2001 Vanguard prams. The Battleship Cove venue provides  terrific sailing with a consistent sea breeze throughout the summer. This is a wonderful recreational and learning opportunity for youth and adults in the Fall River area, one of the Health City Fall River Action Priorities.. Through grants and donations, BCCB is able to offer a limited number of youth scholarships to qualified families.
 

(Top row) Now in its fifth year of operation, Battleship Cove Community Boating operates out of the docks next to the boardwalk in Heritage State Park. (Bottom row) Open sailing hours on weekdays are from 9:00 a.m. to sunset and on weekends from Noon to 7:00 p.m. Instruction is offered at varying times throughout the week.
