Public Safety Day was held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on June 4, 2005, at Heritage State Park. The annual event features displays by Fall River Police, Fire and EMT personnel and offers the public a chance to learn ways of increasing their own safety. A number of events are especially geared to children. For more information about the event, contact Sgt. Cliff Wright at the Fall River Police Department, 508-676-8511.
