The Fall River Pathways to Family Success project held a training session on the "Reading Adventure Kits" for Head Start and Community Partnership Parent Workers on March 4, 2005. The purpose of Fall River Pathways is to increase opportunities for family support and family literacy by improving coordination and integration of services for Fall River families. The program includes Pre-GED Literacy class at BCC as well as Professional development for 22 Parent Liaisons in the Fall River Title I schools. Pathways Partners come together for an exchange of resources and to generate new ways to coordinate and integrate services for Fall River families. The Fall River Pathways to Family Success Pilot Project is one of five Pilots in Massachusetts, funded by the Massachusetts Family Literacy Consortium (MFLC), the Massachusetts Department of Education and Verizon.
