"Up With Arts", a six-week summer youth program began on July 12th at St. Luke's Church on Warren Street. The program was planned and organized by Teens Against Drug Abuse (TADA), a subcommittee of the Fall River Area Prevention Coalition organized in early 2005 to address the prevention of alcohol and other drug abuse in Fall River. Held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, education in visual arts runs from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. Following a break for lunch, an improv theatre group runs from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. For further information, contact Mike Aguiar at SSTAR at 508-679-5222.
