The BOLD (Building Our Lives Drug-free) Coalition hosted its first "Family Fun Day" on June 24, 2006, in the Stanley Street Treatment and Resources (SSTAR) parking lot. The free event was provided to encourage the community to come together with fun and safe activities for youth. Members of the Teens Against Drug Abuse (TADA) youth committee organized the event. Folk singer John Botelho & Friends provided live music, and activities included a bouncing castle room and bungee run. Free food was also provided at the noontime event. For more information about the BOLD Coalition, contact Nic Charest or Susan Wolfson, Parenting Wisely educator and BOLD staff member at Stanley Street Treatment & Resources.
