Fifty-three teams of boys and girls basketball are organized every season through thirteen local parishes that participate in the Catholic Youth Organization on Anawan Street. More than half of these teams are for girls this year. Teams are organized by skill level so that every child plays at an appropriate level of competition. Father Jay Maddock is the current Diocesan Director. Games are played seven days a week from November 11th through the end of March. An all-star game is played in February and awards are given at a league banquet held in May. For further information, call Mr. Vaillancourt at 508-672-9644.
