One of the most popular offerings in the fall program at Community Development Recreation is cheerleading. Students have fun learning all the moves of cheerleading and then have a chance to perform for basketball games played at the Veteran's Memorial Auditorium at 72 Bank Street each week. Practices are held from late September to the end of November on Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for students in second through seventh grade. Cheerleading is only one of a number of athletic activities offered by CD-Rec each fall, including basketball, gymnastics, soccer and judo. For more information, call 679-0922 or visit the website at www.cdrec.org .
