Fall River is now one of
four locations in the U.S. of a
Fisk language school, a franchise with over 700 locations
world-wide. Located at 363 Second Street, the school has been open for
the past year and is now managed by Jonatas Raineri, who moved here from
Brazil after working for one of the hundreds of schools in that country.
Classes are offered in English and Spanish for persons whose native
language is Portuguese. Classes are offered during the day and evening,
including individual instruction. The original school was organized in
1958 by Richard H. Fisk, an American from Vermont who moved to Brazil
and began to teach English. In addition to the 650 schools in Brazil,
Fisk also operates schools in Argentina, Japan, Paraguay and Angola. The
only U.S. locations are in Everett, Stoughton and East Providence in
addition to Fall River's school. For more information, contact
Mr. Raineri at 508-730-1212
or call
