The second annual Flint Pride Days event took place on July 29th ant 30th, 2006, at the Cash Street parking lot in the city's East side. The multi-ethnic event featured 50 booths with games, food and items for sale from Brazilian, Lebanese, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish vendors. Singers performed on stage throughout the two-day event. This year's event was organized by the Flint Merchants Association's vice president Carlos Cesar. “The cost of the event was covered by donations raised by local merchants and advance sales of booklets and banners" said Cesar who has volunteer his time to put the event together.
