Dozens of Fall River area healthcare providers had a chance to demonstrate their services at the second annual WSAR Health Fair held on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at White's of Westport. Several hundred people attended the three-hour event which offered the opportunity to get free tests and the chance to try out many of the services offered by the many local vendors. In addition, dozens of prizes were raffled off by WSAR Radio staff. The entire event was broadcast live by the radio station staff who used the event as an opportunity to do live interviews with many representatives of the participating organizations.
