Heritage State Park was the site for a four day event that included rides, shows and music. The Fall River War Veterans Council partnered with the Friends of Heritage State Park and the City of Fall River to put on a series of events for the whole family. Fanelli's Traveling Amusement park was a hit with the young people who got a chance to try some thrilling rides and have some good old fashioned fun. Other events over the weekend included a hula-hoop contest, a free movie, a dance tribute to veterans, and lots of music.

(Top row) Oskar Kuchenbaur got some pointers from his mother, KaRyn, before trying his hand at launching a rubber frog into the pond for a prize. He didn't win, but he had fun trying! (Middle row, left) Carissa and Amber St. Pierre got a thrill riding the Scrambler. (Bottom row, center) Vovo Libanesa waited patiently while her grandkids took off for the rides. (Bottom row, right) George DaCamara, Joshua Silva, Juao Manuel and Kevin Bothelo came dressed to cheer Portugal on to a World Cup victory.
