Twenty members of the B.M.C. Durfee High School Peaceful Coalition gathered at the YMCA Camp Yomechas in Middleboro on June 6, 2006, to participate in the ropes course. This event, a Healthy City Fall River micro-grant project, provided about twenty members of the Peaceful Coalition and opportunity to do team building and to increase trust among its members. The day-long event included morning team-building exercises and training on the ropes course. Members of the Coalition will return in the fall to continue to build the Coalition leadership. For more information about the group, contact student advisor Paul Leite.
