Staff of the Sunset Hill Development of the Fall River Housing Authority organized a talent show in the community center on November 5, 2006, to showcase many of the talented youth who live in the development. Said Property Manager Lorie Ras, "Kids in the developments often get only negative publicity, and we wanted to show the community something positive. These kids are terrific and have a lot to offer," she added. The program is part of an effort to offer organized activities for youth in each of the developments and part of the overall Healthy City goal of increased and improved recreational opportunities for youth and adults. For more information about this and other projects in the Housing Authority developments, contact Joseph DaSilva at 508-675-3527.
