"Steptember" was America On the Move's (AOM) national month long celebration highlighting the benefits of active living and healthful eating. The month promotes AOM's small change approach to achieving healthier lifestyles among individuals, families, communities and society. The Fall River YMCA participated through a walk from the North Main Street facility to the Heritage Park board walk, around the Iwo Jima monument and back to the Y on September 28, 2007. Staff member Mike Mahoney led the group on the two-mile walk. Click here to see last year's event.
