The HealthFirst Family Care Center gave Fall Riverites a chance to laugh at themselves at a "Fun-raiser" sponsored by Webster Bank and performed at the Jackson Arts Center on the Bristol Community College campus on October 17, 2007. The audience roared at the antics and lyrics of Charlie Hall's Ocean State Follies cast for nearly two hours. Poking gentle fun at everyone from City Councilor Leo Pelletier and Mayor Edward Lambert to Buddy Cianci and President Bush, Hall pointed up the value of laughter for good health. Other numbers made fun of the Government Center and Braga Bridge repairs, HealthFirst Family Care Center, the local diet and, of course, Lizzie Borden's trial.
