Youth Services Department staff of the of the Fall River Housing Authority helped to organize an summer clean-up project at the Father Diaferio Housing Development off of Locust Street in the city's north side on July 13, 2007. The event involved residents, housing unit community police officers, youth outreach workers and representatives of Kool Smiles and the HealthFirst Family Care Center who were on hand to provide information on health and dental services available to development residents. The day also included heart-healthy games for children, including sack races, bean bag toss and a pitch and putt game.
