A Healthy Community is one where people come together to make their community better for themselves, their family, their friends, their neighbors and others in their community. A Healthy Community also creates ongoing dialogue, generates leadership everywhere and shapes its future. The election of November 6, 2007 was just such a process. From campaigning to forums and debates, candidates for the office of mayor, city council and school committee put forward their vision of a better community and voters had the chance to weigh in with their choices.
