Over fifty youth participated in the 5^th Annual Hip Hop Hoop Fest on August 24^th, 2007, an event that is held each year at Britland Park behind the Fall River Police station. Four teams in both the middle school and high school divisions battled for bragging rights on the blacktop. The event was and end of summer celebration organized by the Fall River Youth Outreach Program which has been working to reduce youth violence and gang membership.
