PARTNERS | HEALTHY CITY  | HOW HEALTHY | VISION | SUMMIT | PRIORITIES | FUNCTIONS | CITY OF FALL RIVER

The last in a series of five Leadership Forums sponsored by Healthy City Fall River and the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts was held at the Quequechan Club on March 28, 2007. Similar forums have recently been held on Safety and Substance Abuse, Environment and Recreation and Health Education, and Adult Basic Education issues. Summaries were given on housing, waterfront development and recreational resources by a panelists Tom Collins of the Fall River Housing Authority, Susan Jenkinson of the Residential Care Consortium, Ken Fiola of the Office of Economic Development, and Jim Hartnett of the City Planning Department. The group then developed a list of both assets and challenges that will be made available to the Healthy City Design Team to use in planning next steps.
