Taking advantage of the lights at Kennedy Park, the Bulldogs played American Dryer on August 7, 2007. Over 800 men participate on 43 slow pitch softball teams throughout the Fall River Area. Teams play every day of the week between April and November. Teams also compete in a round-robin series in October where the top four teams receive a trophy and three players are awarded Most Valuable Player status at an award event in the fall. Jack Hackett, who oversees the leagues along with John Corbishley, would like to see more adults build sports into their weekly routine as a way to have fun and get exercise at the same time. Click here for pictures from last year's games. For more information about adult softball in Fall River, contact Jack Hackett  at 508-801-6518.
