The Fall
River Housing Authority Youth Services Department organized holiday
parties at four of the largest family housing developments during the
month of December, 2007, as part of their effort to "keep kids on the
right track", a theme of the Department. Parties were held at Maple
Gardens, Father Diaferio Village, Sunset Hill and at the Holmes
Apartments for residents of the Pleasant View development. Holiday
movies were shown at several of the smaller developments. Each party
featured free food and visits by Santa Claus and the Grinch. In
addition, staff and residents donated food and other items to give to
needy families in the developments. To see other activities that
