The staff of the Youth Services Department of the Fall River Housing Authority, the Fall River Youth Services Department and Community Development Recreation (CD-REC) organized a three-on-three basketball tournament on February 22, 2008, during the winter school vacation. Teams were required to register in advance at CD-REC for the tournament, and over 65 students participated on nine middle school teams and eleven high school teams. Students competed for prizes in both skills competition and in three-on-three team competition over the course of the tournament.
