The Diabetes Association, Inc. (DAI) of Fall River and New Bedford held their  7th Annual “Keep Moving for Camp Kyle” Walk-a-thon at Buttonwood Park in New Bedford on May 10, 2008. The walk kicked off at 9:00 a.m. sharp and took walkers around the south end of the park and back to the warming house. The event, which this year raised approximately $31,000,  helps to raise funds to support Camp Kyle, a summer camp dedicated to children with diabetes. Anyone with an interest in making a donation should contact Amber Vlangas at the Diabetes Association at 508-672-5671.
