Employees at Lightolier, a Fall River lighting company in the Airport Industrial Park with over 600 employees, had the opportunity to meet with representatives of over two dozen health and health care providers at its first company-wide health fair held on October 22, 2008. Workers could get their blood pressure checked, get their body fat analyzed, or have a free massage courtesy of Eternity Massage in Swansea. "This is a terrific opportunity for our employees to learn about all of the wonderful health and health care resources in our community," comment occupational therapist Mary Dunn. "It worth the time we give our employees to learn how healthy they are and what they might do to improve their health status," she added. Lightolier has been a leader in bringing health resources to the worksite. Click here, here, and here to see some of the things the company has done.
