The Fall River Master Planning process continued with a meeting on June 23, 2008, that focused on Open Space, Recreation and Culture. The three-hour discussion was held at the Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center on Martine Street. Consultants Bill Giezentanner of Community Preservation Associates and Martha Lyon of Landscape Architecture facilitated the discussion and recorded the ideas that were offered. Topics included the City's topography, water resources, and habitat and wildlife. A summary of the suggestions will be included in the action and priorities of the final Master Plan for the City. Other focus groups were held on other topics including transportation, human resources, and education. Click here to see photos of the April 9, 2008, Master Plan meeting.
