Youth and adults came together on September 27, 2008, at Stanley Street Treatment and Resources for a session of Teen Empowerment Training sponsored by the BOLD (Building Our Lives Drug-free) Coalition and Team F.R.E.S.H.. The session was conducted by Sapna Padte from the Boston-based Teen Empowerment program and included youth development leadership, communication and problem-solving skills during the two-hour workshop. Teens and adults were paired for a number of exercises designed to improve communication skills. Click here for photos of last year's training.
