The Human Services Program at Bristol Community College held its annual Human Services Opportunity fair on April 14, 2009. Students had the opportunity to speak with representatives of more than thirty human service providers in the Greater Fall River Area at the Commonwealth Center on the Fall River campus. "This is a terrific opportunity for students to interview dozens of potential employers and to learn about the availability of jobs in the local area," commented organizer and Chair of the Human Services Program Kevin Garganta. The annual event draws hundreds of students, many of whom are completing degree programs at the college to prepare them for careers in human services, as well as community visitors. For more information about the event, contact Mr. Garganta at 508-678-2811, Ext.2001.
