Students at the Matthew J. Kuss Middle School held their last Reading Celebration at the Rock Street location before moving to the new building next fall. Students were challenged to read at least twenty-five books over the course of the year. Those who did were given free tickets to participate in an hour of fun and games on Rock Street in front of the school on June 15, 2009. They also got extra chances to try their hand at putting school personnel in the dunk tank. The event was organized by English teacher Maria Griffith and carried out by the entire faculty. Prizes were provided by the Kuss Middle School Parent Teacher Organization. Click here for photos of the 2007 event. For further information about the event, contact Kuss Middle School principal Nancy Mullen at 508-675-8335.
