Music and fine arts mingled at the Eighth Annual Narrows Festival of the Arts on Anawan and Water Streets  on September 13, 2008. Taking full advantage of Fall River's waterfront just a block from the City's new Ponta Delgada Gates, the event featured visual artists, musicians and a full schedule of multi-cultural children's activities. The children's area included the live interactive performance art of Waking Dream of Connecticut, a craft table operated by the Fall River Children's Museum and performances by Flooky and the Bean. Music headliners included Hot Club of Cow Town, Marc Douglas Berardo and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. A food court featured local fare from TA's Restaurant, LePage's Seafood and the Good Shepherd Parish. For more information, contact the Narrows Center for the Arts at (508) 324-1926.
