The Fall River Garden Club, the Fall River Historical Society and the Little Theatre of Fall River once again combined their talents to present "History Underfoot III," a walking tour in Fall River's historic Oak Grove Cemetery, on October 4, 2009. This event featured a heart-healthy guided walking tour through the cemetery's winding pathways to gravesites of seven notables who knew Lizzie Borden. At each of the sites, actors from Little Theatre portrayed the individuals, giving insights into what they knew or observed surrounding the infamous double murder on August 4, 1892. The first "History Underfoot" event three years ago also helped to raise funds for the three not-for-profit groups as well as the Friends of Oak Grove Cemetery (F.O.G.) which has been planting new trees in the park.
