Chef Jessica Williams offered a "Nutrition Round-up" at CD-REC on November 9, 2009 for parents to teach the basics of nutrition. Topics covered included food portion size, "think your drink", nutrition label reading, food safety, and some examples of the number of calories burned during different activities. Participants were then challenged to answer questions at twelve different stations around the room, all pertaining to food.
