Sponsored by Bank Five, the seventh annual Heritage Harvest Festival organized by the Friends of Heritage State Park took place on October 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2010. The Saturday event kicked off with a Halloween costume parade and judging contest open to all children  Other events included arts and crafts, pony rides, pumpkin decorating, cookie decorating, face painting and the popular Home Depot Kids Workshop, in which youngsters can get a first-hand experience at building with kits for a variety of projects. Co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation and the Friends of Heritage State Park, the event also included a variety of musical performances over the three days.
