On Saturday, May 15, 2010, Fall River residents had the chance to clean-up in the Niagara Neighborhood as well as the Lower Highlands. Trash was dropped off at neighborhood dumpsters located at Pulaski Park in the Niagara Neighborhood and Rock Street in the Lower Highlands. Public Works and Allied Waste staff were be on hand to assist. The City has coordinated cleanups in targeted areas in conjunction with neighborhood groups and community organizations to remove litter from the streets and sidewalks. .Neighborhood clean-ups have been scheduled in the Sandy Beach, Father Kelly, Corky Row, Maplewood, Flint, and Meridian Street areas in addition to a City-wide park clean-up scheduled for May 22nd.
