The Hearts and Hands Walk for Autism and Family Fun Day held at Bristol Community College on September 22, 2012 offered hundreds of families and supporters of those with Autism Spectrum Disorders a morning of enjoyable activities including a bubble creation station, a bounce house, a sensory treasure hunt, face painting and more. The event, organized by Community Autism Resources (CAR) in Swansea, a family-created and oriented community services organization, helped to raise funds through donations that will help support the organization's activities over the coming year. CAR provides services to over 2,400 families in over 81 cities and towns in southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the Islands, Click here for the Herald News article.
