Members of the
Fall River Bicycle Committee took an early morning ride on July 14, 2012
on the Blackstone River Bike Path in order to see what Rhode Island has
done to create public bike routes. The path is approximately 10 miles long
and begins in the northern part of Pawtucket and travels to Woonsocket.
This path is especially beautiful and runs along a canal, the Blackstone
River, and an active rail line that travels to Worcester. All enjoyed, and
the bike committee promised a return trip.
The Committee is actively engaged in advocating for expanded opportunities
for cycling in Southeastern Massachusetts and for new bicycle routes in
Fall River. Click

for the East Bay Bike Path ride. For
