The ninth Challenge event in the four-month Fall River Fitness Challenge 2012 series of free events was held at the YMCA on North Main Street on March 14th. Aerobics instructor Robin Morrissey of the Y staff led a dozen women in an hour of moves designed to increase cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and flexibility. "It's great to see these women sticking to a fitness program for over ten weeks," commented Morrissey. Organized by the Diabetes Association, Inc. (DAI),  Community Development Recreation (CD-REC), the Fall River YMCA, General Fitness and Healthy City Fall River, and sponsored by Partners for a Healthier Community, the Challenge offers low cost opportunities for those who live, work or attend school in Greater Fall River to get fit, lose weight, have fun and win prizes.
