More than a dozen volunteers gathered at North Park for a three-hour clean-up on October 20, 2012. Fall River Park Advocates were joined by Citizens for Citizens peer leaders and Youth Corps teens to pull out trash and rake up untended areas of the Park. "We found the Park amazingly clean," commented clean-up organizer Sandy Dennis. "We spent some time imagining how the park will be used once the new Morton Middle School is completed next fall," she added. The event is one of many throughout the City designed to pick up litter, rake and spruce up public areas. Park Advocacy Coordinator Sandy Dennis has organized more than a dozen similar efforts over the summer. Click here for a brief video about the Youth Court contribution.
