The first integrated Primary, Behavioral and Methadone Healthcare Clinic in Massachusetts held an open house in its new location at 1010 South Main Street, Fall River, on March 9, 2012. Located in a 12,4300 square foot facility in the City's South End, the clinic will provide the same extraordinary, high quality, cost effective treatment that is now provided at Stanley Street Treatment and Resources' (SSTAR) other location in the city and in Rhode Island. SSTAR's CEO, Nancy Paull, was able to renovate the building, owned by Steward Health Care, with a $480,000 American Recovery and Resiliency Act (AARA) grant and $130,000 of its own funds. SSTAR has a ten-year lease on the building and will be able to move its methadone clinic services into the building from its current location at Saint Anne's Hospital. The clinic will also house primary care physicians as well as behavioral health counselors for drug and alcohol dependency treatment. Click here for the Herald News article.
