The Fall River Bicycle Committee sponsored a bicycle tour of Fogland in Tiverton, RI on Patriots' Day, April 15, 2013. The four-hour tour started at Grinell's Beach in Tiverton and took riders along historic and scenic routes including the famous Pease Field where Benjamin Church and local colonists battled the local natives during the King Philip War. From there, the group headed south and then west throught the Fogland Beach Recreation Area to Point View Drive. "It was a terrific Spring day for a ride," commented Committe Chair Brian Pearson. "The weather couldn't have been nicer." The group got to see some early signs of spring and see a lot of the waterfront up close the way only bike riding makes possible.
