About a eight members of the Fall River Bicycle Committee headed up the Blackstone Valley Bikeway on August 10, 2013 to enjoy a terrific ride on a gorgeous day to visit the Museum of Work and Culture in Woonsocket, RI. The trek covered about twenty miles along the bicycle path along the Blackstone River, with beautiful views of the water and wildlife along the way. The group stopped to visit the museum where they saw many of the displays depicting mill life in the 18th and 19th Centuries before returning to their starting point at in Lincoln, RI. There are over ten miles of paved bike paths along the Blackstone. Fall River will soon have a bike path throught the center of the City along the Quequechan River.
