Senior citizens at the South Main Street Senior Center had the opportunity to learn about nutrition from a registered dietitian from Sarah Brayton Nursing Center at the South Main Street Senior Center on April 9, 2014. Dietitian Monique Rodrigues covered portion sizes related to the MyPlate recommendations of the USDA and answered questions from about fifteen seniors who took part. Council on Aging Associate Director Pauline Gousie  helped to arrange the series, which will be presented at the South Main and North End Senior Centers as well. Click here for a short video of the classes. For more information about the program, contact Associate Council on Aging Director Pauline Gousie at 508-324-2401.
