Members of the Fall River Bicycle Committee and Bike Fall River held their first bicycle ride of the 2014 season on April 12th with a ride on the East Bay Bike Path. Meeting in downtown Warren where Child Street crosses Railroad Avenue, the group then headed North to Barrington and back over a couple of hours. It was a cool Sunday, but the fifteen riders had a great ride, reported Fall River Bike Commission Chairman Jim Cusick. New riders, like Richard Mello and his wife, joined veterans Robin Thorpe and Jim and Rebecca Cusick. "Everyone had a great time," commented Bike Fall River Chairman Brian Pearson. "Everyone was looking forward to more rides in the future," he added. For more information, contact Fall River Bicycle Committee Chairman Brian Pearson. (Photos courtesy of Brian and Karen Pearson)
