Members of Bike Fall River headed to Newport, RI, on May 9, 2015 to join members of Bike Newport to celebrate Cyclo Femme, women riding bikes. The group split into two groups, one riding 13 miles along Ocean Drive and the other riding 30 miles into Middletown. The groups ended at the Volvo Race festivities at Fort Adams. Click here for photos of the group's first ride of the 2015 season on April 18th that took them to the East Bay Bike Path. Fall River Bicycle Committee Chairman, Brian Pearson, and many members of the group are active supporters of the South Coast Bike Way, a route that is planned to go from Providence to Provincetown. The group is also advocating with Mass in Motion for more bike routes in Fall River. Members are looking forward to many more rides this season. For more information on future rides, contact Fall River Bicycle Committee Chairman Brian Pearson. (Photos courtesy of Brian Pearson)
