Members of the Southcoast Worksite Health & Wellness Collaborative enjoyed a presentation on Stress and Happiness by Eileen Crochiere of the Taunton-based EAP Network at the January 8, 2015 meeting of the Collaborative. Ms. Crochiere covered the many lifestyle factors that can increase or reduce stress and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude that can promote happiness. "This is by far our most requested topic," said Crochiere who presents on a number of other topics to employee groups. The EAP Network is one of the oldest such services in the Commonwealth helping client companies meet the diverse human resource needs of their employees. The meeting also provided participants with information about the upcoming Greater Fall River Fitness Challenge as well as a similar Challenge in the New Bedford Area. The monthly Collaborative meetings, often held at the Sylvia Insurance Company headquarters on Faunce Corner Road in North Dartmouth, offer presentations on a number of topics related to worksite wellness. Past meetings have focused on healthy eating in the workplace, ergonomics,  CPR, and on substance abuse.
