Participants in the Greater Fall River Fitness Challenge and the Fall River Parent Academy who attended the eleventh presentation in the weekly series, "How to Lose Weight Without Going Hungry" on March 26, 2016 heard Dr. David Weed and Katie-Beth Wright talk about strategies for eating low-carb, high-fat diets away from home. Dr. Weed talked about finding food that fits this diet in restaurants by asking to hold carbs like rice, pasta and potatoes and requesting fats with added bacon or sauces. Ms. Wright described how to make foods like cheese crisps that can be carried.
