Three Steering Committee members and and two employees of Partners for a Healthier Community met with Mayor Jasiel Correia II and seven members of his staff on February 17, 2016. Steering Committee Chairperson Lisa Alves and Executive Director Dr. David Weed presented a short PowerPoint program about Partners' collaborative work and then opened the session to comments from City Planner William Kenny, Human Resources Director Madeline Coelho, City Administrator Cathy Ann Viveiros, Veterans' Services Director Raymond Hague, Youth Services Coordinator Christian McCloskey, Grants Manager Michael Aguiar, Director of Health and Human Services Dr. Henry Vaillancourt, Eric Andrade of SSTAR  representing Mass in Motion Fall River Coordinator Julianne Kelly, and Chief of Staff Chris Parayno. The session was arranged to help the Mayor's staff better understand the scope of collaborative efforts with which Partners is involved and to provide an opportunity for them to share their concerns regarding health issues facing the City of Fall River.
