The Creative Arts Network (formerly AHA! Fall River) officially kicked-off summer with a weekend filled with art & music of all types and for all ages on June 23-25, 2017, Free performances on Sunday the 25th included guitarists Lou Leeman, Duke Robillard and Mauricio Morais and Brazilian Band Pagonejo and the Ba Ha Bros. The AMP Academy Gym also demonstrated what they do at their parkour and movement gym. Activities for the children and families included a giant fish puppet, a family Boardwalk tour, the Toe Jam Puppet Band, the Bubble Guy, balloon making, and a magic show with Dennis Blanchard. "It's been a great day down here. The weather's been fantastic, Everyone's enjoying it," said organizer Sandy Dennis. AHA! Fall River was formed in June 2013 in collaboration with the New Bedford AHA! and the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts. AHA! stands for arts, history and architecture. The organization held its first event on June 21, 2013 and has held more than a dozen events since then.
