MassRIDES Outreach Coordinator Samantha Devin presented at the January 9, 2017 Community Partnership meeting on NuRide, a MassRlDES' online tool that helps commuters find carpool matches and provides rewards for greener trips. NuRide can help commuters find people that live and work near them and are interested in sharing the ride. People can sign up for NuRide and begin logging to accrue points towards great rewards! Those who take commuter rail to work or bike to a friend's house can accrue points good towards restaurant coupons and discounts from local and national retailers. NuRide also provides measurements to calculate the money saved,  the number of drive-alone trips reduced and the positive environmental impact. Representatives of local human service organizations attend the every-other-month Community Partnership meeting at St. Vincent's  organized by United Neighbors of Fall River.
